I am excited to connect with you about my mobile dental hygiene services. As a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice, I provide on-site comprehensive dental hygiene services for those challenged with accessing care in a traditional dental office. I have mobile dental equipment and bring all the comforts of a dental office to the patient to provide high quality preventative care. The safety and well-being of my patients during all dental procedures is very important to me and I make it a priority to follow all CDC and OSHA guidelines.

My services are of particular value to individuals who may be affected by physical or cognitive challenges that make travel difficult. Some of the services I am able to provide include but are not limited to, patient evaluation, dental X-rays, dental cleaning, scaling and root planing. Additionally, I can provide fluoride treatment and I can help prevent cavity progression by applying a topical applications of silver diamine fluoride. I provide a dental hygiene treatment plan specific to each patient and their needs.

What is an RDHAP
Everyone deserves regular dental care. A Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice or RDHAP is licensed to provide dental hygiene care without the supervision of a dentist. We can take dental hygiene care to those with limited access to care in the traditional dental office setting. We are the mid-level dental hygiene care providers in the state of California.
What does this mean? The RDHAP can take his or her dental hygiene practice to the patient’s home, bedside, school, or other setting. Some RDHAPs have their own dental hygiene office. There they provide safe and thorough care for their patients.
